Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, young Buddha Stretch would soon be famous for his Hip Hop Freestyle, in which he combined what was termed Oldschool and Newschool at the time. Being inspired by all aspects of Hip Hop culture, music and dance Buddha quickly made dance popular, mostly through the choreographys he came up with for music videos like Will Smiths „The Men In Black“ (for which he was nominated for an MTV Award for Best Choreography) and Michael Jacksons „Remember the time“.
